WATSONTOWN - Vera G. (Schenck) Miller, 88, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born on September 02, 1925 in Roaring Brook and was the daughter of the late Fred John and Anna E. (Roush) Schenck. Vera married Elwood L. Miller, who survives on October 06, 1944 and they celebrated 69 years of marriage together. She attended Limestoneville School and was previously employed by Montgomery Mills as well as a stay at home mom. Vera was a former member, Sunday school teacher and Nursery teacher of First Pentecostal Church, Muncy. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband Elwood, Vera is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law; Bonnie L. Dotts of Dewart and Linda J. Miller and Tony King of TN, two grandchildren; Samuel Dotts, Jr. of Montgomery and Yvonne and husband Richard Radgoski of Poconos, two great grandchildren; Ryan and Colin Radgoski, two brothers and sisters-in-law; Charles and Pat Schenck of Linden and David and Jane Schenck of White Deer, four sisters; Mae Hancock of Dillsburg, Jean Schenck of Danville, Jane Long of Bloomsburg and Penny Pfleegor of Danville. In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by one daughter; Connie Rose Dotts, one brother; Fred Schenck, one sister; Beverly Schenck and one son-in-law; Renny Dotts. Memorial contributions may be made to Susquehanna Home Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport PA 17701 A public viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, PA 17847 followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Dave Fishel of Susquehanna Home Hospice officiating. Burrial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
