Vera E. (Blauser) Reily

York—Vera E. (Blauser) Reily, 84, died Monday, December 9, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roy W. Reily Jr. A Graveside Service will be 2:30 PM, Friday, December 13, 2013 at Suburban Memorial Gardens, 3875 Bull Road, Dover with Pastor Barry Stough of First Foundation Church in Dillsburg officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born February 21, 1929 in York, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Elsie M. (Hauff) Blauser. She was employed with Danskin for 25 years as a knitter until her retirement. She later began working part-time at the Four Points Sheraton in the laundry department. She enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City and Hollywood casinos, playing scratch off lottery tickets and took several cruises including visits to the Bahamas and Hawaii. Mrs. Reily is survived by two daughters, Wanda Eaton and husband, Scott of York and Pamela Eisenhour and husband, Brian of Dover; two sons, Charles Shindel and wife, Arleda of Carlisle and Steve Shindel and wife, Joan of Seven Valleys; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; three sisters, Beatrice Hench, Gloria Ritter and Jeanette Beaverson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Reily and Roy W. Reily, Jr., and one brother. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924 N.
