Velma M. Dolly (Conley) Willwert, 79, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Truman N. Willwert. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 22, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, The Rev. Russell D. Clark officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Thursday and 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born January 21, 1931 in Newberry Twp. a daughter of the late William C. and Mary V. (Krone) Conley, she had been a seamstress in various sewing factories in Red Lion and Dallastown. Mrs. Willwert was a member of St. Pauls UCC in Dallastown and enjoyed crocheting, reading, and visiting with her twin sister, Thelma Culhane. Dolly will be remembered as a devoted mother and loving wife and grandmother who did everything she could to care for her family. Mrs. Willwert is survived by three sons, John W. and wife Brenda Willwert, James N. Willwert and fianc, Alice Stottlemyer, and Robert L. and wife Deb Willwert all of Red Lion; two daughters, Janet A. and husband Gary Wilhide of York and Joyce A. and husband Charles Reynolds of Abbottstown; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Conley of York Haven and Robert Conley of Etters; two sisters, Thelma Culhane and Dorothy Douden both of New Cumberland; a sister in law, Pansy A. Ness of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Willwert was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Daniels Ritter; three brothers, William and John Conley, and Ronald Conley who died in Vietnam; and a sister, Mary Bupp. Memorial contributions may be made to York Cancer Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd., Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
