Valarie K. Violante

YORK – Valarie K. Violante, 68, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 19, 2024 with her loved ones by her side. She was the companion of Michael C. Rooney.

Born January 12, 1956 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Marcia K. (Moleski) and Larry Violante, Jr.; she was a 1973 graduate of West York High School. Valarie operated a successful home cleaning business. She was an avid yoga practitioner and loved nothing more than doting over her Scottish Terriers. Valarie was a beautiful soul, and brought a smile to anyone near her. She will be terribly missed by her family and anyone who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Valarie is survived by two sons, Brent and wife Paulette Klingel of Charleston, SC and Bryon and wife Melissa Klingel of Mechanicsburg; four granddaughters, Lauren, Taylor, Elizabeth, and Emily; a brother, Larry Violante, III of York; and a sister, Kimberly and husband William Yanavitch of Hellam.

There will be a gathering of Valarie’s family and friends at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
