Ursula N. Staples

Red Lion—Ursula N. (Gould) Staples, 67, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at her residence in Windsor Township.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, March 7, 2025 Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 900 Pleasant Grove Rd, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be her son, the Rev. Ersel Staples. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. 

Born December 23, 1957 in Frankfurt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late David and Frieda Gould.

Throughout her working career, she was employed with various companies both locally and in Maryland. She enjoyed art, crafting and crocheting, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Staples is survived by two sons, Ersel D. Staples of Red Lion and Eddie J. Staples of Port Deposit, MD; three grandchildren, Ersel Isaac Staples, Gemma Faith Staples, Jewel Lee Staples; one sister, Monica Goeppert-Brownley and nieces and nephews.
