YORK-Tyler Charles Miller, 30, of Hellam Township, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by family. He was the husband of Chelsea C. Runkle. The couple celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary on October 3rd and 11 years together in November. A celebration of life service will be held at Terrapin Station 34 Railroad Ln, Red Lion, PA 17356 on Saturday July the 2nd. Visitation with family starting at 3 pm, service at 4 pm, officiated by Pastor Terry Robinson, dinner and celebration to follow. To honor Tyler please wear your favorite hat. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Tyler was born in York on September 10, 1991, the son of John C. and Lisa A. (Stremmel) Miller of Windsor. He had worked as a HVAC Technician and in maintenance for Eastern York School District and was currently working for Automated Logistic Company (ALC), where he worked in HVAC controls. Tyler was a member of Waters Edge United Methodist Church in Wrightsville. He was a 2009 graduate of Eastern York High School and a 2010 graduate of York Technical Institute. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and golfing with his closest family and friends. He enjoyed spending time at the hunting camp, especially pheasant hunting with his dogs, Blake, Gunner and Opie. He was a sports enthusiast, who particularly liked the Philadelphia 76ers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. Not only did he have a love for Heinz Field, but also their Ketchup. He appreciated many genres of music, knowing an abundance of songs. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Along with his wife and parents, he leaves a sister, Tiffany A. Miller of Windsor; a brother-in-law Zac Runkle of Dover; father and mother-in-law, John and Sherryl Runkle of Dover; maternal grandmother, Nancy Stremmel of Seven Valleys; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
