Truda R. Urey

RED LION- Truda Romaine (Bruaw) Urey, 82 of Windsor Township, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Pastor Steven Warner will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Mrs. Urey was born in York on June 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Walter William and Ruth Agnes (Wood) Bruaw. She was an auditor at the former York Bank and Trust. Mrs. Urey was a member of Grace Baptist Church in York. She was a 1957 graduate of Central York High School. She was a yard sale enthusiast, and enjoyed travelling and crafts. She had two special Yorkie’s, Shortstop and Dougie that never left her side. Mrs. Urey leaves two daughters, Tina D. Baker and her husband Russell Robinson of Red Lion and Robin L. Horton and her husband Joseph of Brogue; two sons, John E. Urey of Airville and Jason H. Urey of York; stepdaughters, Roxanne Todaro and Kim Neeper; four grandchildren, Danielle, Philip, Shane, and Leanne and four great grandchildren.
