Trevor H. Shelley

YORK - Trevor H. Shelley, 20, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at York Hospital. Born February 5, 1987 in York a son of Eric J. and Gwendolyn [Hamilton] Shelley of York, he was a 2005 graduate of Central York High School where he played on the golf team. He was a gifted student that enjoyed life to its fullest and always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Trevor was currently attending Penn State-York majoring in Business Administration and was a part-time pharmacy tech at Brockie Healthcare. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, and enjoyed playing all sports. He attended Living Word Community Church. In addition to his parents, Trevor is survived by a sister, Kaitlyn E. Shelley of York; a half brother, Ryan M. Sides of York; maternal grandparents, William H. and Joyce E. Hamilton of Long Neck, DE; paternal grandmother, Doris E. Shelley of York; two uncles, Jeff and Kenneth Shelley; and an aunt, Louise Stouch. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dr. Emerson Shelley. Trevor our beloved son fulfilled our life with joy and laughter and we will miss your smile and witty sense of humor. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Rev. Brian Rice officiating. A visitation will be from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Golf Scholarship Fund in Trevor's name at Central York High School.
