Treva A. (Weigel) Albright

York - Treva A. (Weigel) Albright, 100, passed away on Thursday July 22, 2021 at the Wellspan Hospital and had resided at SpiriTrust Lutheran the Village at Sprenkle Drive (Gladfelter Center). Treva was the wife of the late Howard C. Albright who passed away in February of 1982. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Trinity Rd., York on Friday July 30, 2021 at 11AM. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 10AM until the service. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Wolf’s Church Cemetery, 4515 Wolf’s Church Road, York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. York is in charge of arrangements. Born in Dover on February 14, 1921, Treva was the daughter of the late David and Irene (Zeigler) Weigel. Treva was a member at Saint Paul Lutheran Church for many years where she also taught Sunday school and Bible school. A 1939 graduate of York High and later Thompson Business School, Mrs. Albright worked as a secretary for J.G. Kuester & Associates Advertising & Sales and later retired from the Assessment Office at the York Court House in 1988. An avid reader, Treva loved her dog Mickey and loved spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mitch Albright and his wife, Sandy; two daughters, Cindy Ward and her husband, Dennis, Sandy Bender and her husband, Carl; grandchildren, Carrie Houck and her husband, Matt, Cori Feeser and her husband, Kevin; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Gavin, Gracie and Taylor. Treva was preceded in death by her sisters, Dot Kreidler and Ethel Deardorff; brother, David “Bud” Weigel; and great granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Feeser.
