Tressa Virginia (Dellinger) Young

RED LION - Tressa Virginia (Dellinger) Young, 89, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Colonial Manor in York. She was the wife of the late William E. Young, Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. The Reverend Steven Schmuck will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Freysville Cemetery. Mrs. Young was born in Lower Windsor Township on January 30, 1924, the daughter of the late Edward T. and Edith M. (Hivner) Dellinger. She worked as a nurse’s aid at Pleasant Acres and then for York Hospital where she retired. Mrs. Young leaves a daughter-in-law, Nhan Huynh-Young of Red Lion; three grandchildren, Tracy Manley, Chasta (Young) Strouse, and Phoenix A. B. Huynh-Young and five great grandchildren. Two sons, William E. Young, Jr. and Bradley R. Young had preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Freysville Cemetery Association, c/o Horace Gibson, 218 W.
