Tou Khanthavout

SHREWSBURY- Tou Khanthavout, 65, formerly of Erie, PA and Thailand, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Holy Cross Hospital in Maryland. Mrs. Khanthavout leaves a companion, Thongkham Khanthavout. A Buddhist Ceremony will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, followed by cremation. Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Khanthavout was born in Roi-Et, Thailand on April 11, 1944, a daughter of the late Seut and Boung Khanthavout. Mrs. Khanthavout leaves four daughters, Souksavan Khanthavout of Virginia, Douangchan Khanthavout of Shrewsbury, PA, Phinthong Khanthavout of Connecticut, and Noi Xie of New Jersey; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Bounseau; three sisters, Bounseau, Malee, and Bounleauth. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kee.
