Timothy I. Minnich

SPRING GROVE- Timothy I. Minnich, 58, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at his home after battling cancer and congestive heart failure for the past year. He was the husband of Jamie L. (Knight) Minnich to whom he was married 29 years. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born April 29, 1957 in York, Tim was a son of the late Franklin and Helen (Frey) Minnich. He worked as an electrician for Engles & Fahs Electric for over 20 years. Mr. Minnich was a member of St. Paul’s Wolf’s ECC. Tim loved gardening, landscaping and working outside. He enjoyed motorcycles and traveling to the beach. Tim was an avid sports fan and cheered for the Ravens and Orioles. He enjoyed helping others and loved his family dearly. Along with his wife, Jamie, Tim is survived by a son, Logan Tyler Minnich of Spring Grove; two brothers, Franklin Minnich, Jr. and his wife Dirinda of York, and Gerald Minnich and his wife Linda of Craley; father and mother-in-law Richard and Barbara Knight of York; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs Bear and Charlie. The family would especially like to thank the hospice team of Jodi, Jessica, Kathy, April, Lauren and Jennifer for providing Tim with excellent care.
