Timothy Eugene Howard

YORK - Timothy Eugene Howard, 66, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Vicki Rae (Graham) Howard to whom he was married for 47 years. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held 2 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with The Reverend Steven Schmuck officiating. Viewings will be Thursday, June 26 from 7-9 PM and Friday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Craley Cemetery. The family requests attendees dress casually. Born October 27, 1947 in York, Timothy was a son of Norma M (Gohn) of Red Lion and the late Roy S. Howard. Timothy worked 23 years for Bertazon Masonry in Maryland and more recently for T. A. Leiphart, Masonry, Inc. Timothy was a family man and lived for his children and grandchildren. He took great satisfaction in cooking and feeding his family and friends. He enjoyed racing and watching NASCAR. Timothy had a way to make friends feel like family and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Howard is survived by a son, Brett E. Howard and his wife Melissa of Wrightsville; two grandchildren, Kaci Nicole Decker and Logan Eugene Howard; four brothers, John Howard and his wife Kathy of Brogue, Rick Howard and his wife Jackie of Felton, Lynn Howard and his wife Anita of Felton and Mark Howard and his wife Laurie of Felton; a sister, Bonnie Matthews and her husband Les of Stewartstown, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Howard was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristi Renee.
