Timothy B. Wolf

YORK – Timothy B. Wolf, 63, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Diane L. (Kline) Wolf to whom he was married for 34 years. Tribute services will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born April 24, 1949 in York a son of the late Walter E. and Beulah M. (Eppley) Wolf, he was a 1967 graduate of William Penn Senior High and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Tim worked as a network systems administrator for Park Hill Fasteners and B & C Fasteners. He had been involved with Boy Scouts of America in different capacities including being an assistant and head scout master, and unit commissioner. Mr. Wolf was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, its Bell Choir, and Lutheran Men’s Club. He was a member of York Area Transplant Support Group and actively promoted organ and tissue donation following his own heart transplant in 1998. In 2002 Tim ran as a torch bearer for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He enjoyed music, playing the acoustic guitar, piano, and organ. In addition to his wife Diane, Mr. Wolf is survived by a son, Matthew B. and wife Lisa Wolf of Mechanicsburg; Andrea L. Wolf and companion Norman White, III of Pelion, SC; and a granddaughter, Chloe L. White. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey W. Wolf.
