Thomas 'Tommy' David Trautfelter

YORK-Thomas Tommy David Trautfelter, 28, passed away on November 26, 2010 at York Hospital. He was the loving boyfriend of Wendy Jean Boyd to whom he shared six years with. A celebration of life service will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with pastor, Steven Schmuck officiating. Viewings will be 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Tommy was born March 28, 1982 in Baltimore, MD, a son of Thomas M. Trautfelter and Cathy D. Clark. He was a 1997 graduate of Red Lion Christian School and a 2000 graduate of York Vocational High School. He was currently employed by Tate Access Floors, Inc., Red Lion. He enjoyed trout fishing with his friends during his childhood, and was an exceptional athlete who played baseball and basketball into his adult years. He was a loving father to his daughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Trautfelter, and spent many hours teaching and playing with her.In addition to his daughter, girlfriend and parents, Tommy is survived by two sisters, Rebecca Trautfelter of Dallastown, and Vannity T. Trautfelter of Felton; a step sister, Cathy Kerns of MD; two step brothers, Bryan Aquino and wife, Lindsay of York, and Jay Martinez of Red Lion; stepmother, Saida Trautfelter of Felton; grandmother, Evelyn E. Trimmer of Felton; three nephews; one step nephew; one niece; and loving dog, Patch. He is preceded in death by a grandfather, Thomas H. Trautfelter; step grandfather Vernon L. Trimmer; and great grandmother, Blanch Miles.
