Thomas A. Taylor

YORK—Thomas A. Taylor 90, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Klara (Sammer) Taylor to whom he was married for 26 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held privately at the family’s convenience. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born June 04, 1934 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Chester and Anne (Craig) Taylor.

He was employed as a warehouse foreman with Simmons Mattress – York for many years, until his retirement.

A United States Army Veteran, he was also a long-time and active member of Whitefield Christian Church in Whitefield, NH. An avid and accomplished painter, he also enjoyed woodworking, listening to audio books, watching sports and he volunteered at Littleton Regional Hospital in New Hampshire.

Mr. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Cadwallader and Laura Snyder; three grandchildren, William Poff, Jared Poff and Ben Heikes; five great grandchildren; three step sons, Victor Spangler, Allen Spangler and Robert Snook; one step daughter, Licia Lehman.
