Thomas M. Seltzer

DOVER- Thomas M. Seltzer, 69, of Dover Township, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Rosella M. “Rosie” (Claar) Seltzer. The couple celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on March 30, 2012. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 1-2:20 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Paul Luecke will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Tom was born in Ringtown on March 10, 1943, son of the late Howard and L. Robertha (Manbeck) Seltzer. He graduated from Penn State University in 1965, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Agricultural Engineering. He went on to work at DuPont in Fishing Creek and Die-Tech, Inc. and he worked part-time at West York Target until he retired at age 65. He was a member of Church of God AWA in York. Along with his wife, Tom leaves a niece, Vania Root; a nephew, Nathanial Seltzer, and a sister-in-law, Mary Seltzer. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul H. Seltzer, and a niece, Shari Seltzer.
