Thomas Leroy Wise, Jr.

LEWISBURG - Thomas Leroy Wise, Jr., 70, died on Monday, November 25, 2013 at River Woods, Lewisburg. Thomas was born on August 10, 1943 in Lewisburg and was the son of the late Thomas L., Sr. and Lula Irene (Witmire) Wise. He had worked at Malvin Lloyd Masonry and Kuhn’s Brothers Sawmill. He had attended Black Run Chapel. Thomas is survived by two sons; Thomas L. Wise, III of Lewisburg and Jim L. Wise of Mifflinburg, two daughters; Sarah M. Watts of Lewisburg and Patricia Mingle of Sunbury, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five brothers and sisters-in-law; Roger and Fay Wise, Bill and Nancy Wise, Samul and Gail Wise, Moses and Deena Wise and Joseph and Christina Wise, all of Lewisburg and one sister and brother-in-law; Blanche and Vern Ulrich of Lewisburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; Herold, John, Georgie and Charles and one sister; Margerett Shoemaker. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton with Pastor Butch Woolsey officiating. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 12 – 1. Burial will follow in Mazzepa Cemetery.
