Thomas F. Burkholder

York—Thomas F. Burkholder, 92, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Manor Care-North. He was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Neidhammer) Burkholder. A Graveside Service will be held 2PM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born September 2, 1925 in Mowry, Schuylkill Co., he was a son of the late John F. and Phoebe (Fetterolf) Burkholder. He was employed as an assembler at York International for 24 years until his retirement in 1990. A United States Army Veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Mt. Wolf Senior Center and attended the Church of the Open Door. Mr. Burkholder is survived by one son, Thomas E. Burkholder and wife, Peggy of York; one daughter, Kay E. Stull of York; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucy Barkert of Pottsville and Maida White of Ohio and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Trough.
