Thomas Edwin Clark

RED LION- Thomas Edwin Clark, 62, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, June 18, 2018, at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Carol D. (Alwood) Clark. The couple would have celebrated 38 years of marriage this coming November. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles St., Red Lion, with his Pastor, Reverend Courtney Erzkus officiating. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the service. Burial will be in Pleasant View Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born October 25, 1955, in Red Lion, Tom was the son of the late Ellis L. and Kathryn E. (Raver) Clark. He graduated in 1973 from Red Lion Area High School, where he was a standout wrestler. He worked as an electrician at David E. Smith Electrical Contractor for more than 40 years. Tom was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He put family above all else, enjoying family vacations and picnics. Tom was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community. In addition to his wife, Carol, Mr. Clark is survived by three children, Amanda Handy and her husband Robert, Crystal Clark, and Adam Thomas Clark and his wife Samantha; four grandchildren, Olivia, Tommy, Calvin, and Margot; two step-grandchildren, Bobby and Emily; eight siblings, Gloria Johnson, Joyce Ness (Sid), Linda Cotton (Floyd), Leroy Clark (Dolly), John Clark (Diana), Sandy Farhat (Johnny) Richard Clark (Kris), and Carrie Anderson (Vince); a sister-in-law, Jane Alwood and family friend Sandy Lawrence. Tom was preceded in death also by his father and mother-in-law, George and Judy Alwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N.
