Thomas E. Myers

Thomas E. Myers, 86, died on Monday, September 27, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Kay L. (Smith) Myers. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on April 23rd. Services for Mr. Myers are private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on July 4, 1935 in York, he was a son of the late Kenneth D. Myers and Rachael Plunkett. Thomas worked in shipping and receiving at Zarfos Furniture Store, Inc. for over 23 years. Mr. Myers served our country for four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Thomas was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Windsor. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, boating and camping. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Kay, Thomas is survived by two sons, Brian E. Myers and his partner Dawn Glanville of Chenango Forks, NY and Theodore L. Myers and his wife, Suzanne of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, Lauren Myers, Theodore P. Myers and Stella Marie Myers; half-brother, Sam Curcio and his wife, Elaine of Ballston Spa, NY; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jacque Myers.
