Red Lion—Thomas E. Jackson, 64, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at his residence in Red Lion Borough. He was the husband of Peggy L. (Angel) Jackson. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary February 19th, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born February 15, 1947 in Dundalk, Maryland, he was a son of the late Edward and Ruth (Davis) Jackson. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served with the Seabees. He was employed as a warehouse foreman and equipment operator with Enterprise Paper and Chemical for 34 years and later worked with FPC Holdings, Inc., for 4 years. A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, he always put the needs of his family first. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed watching football and baseball on TV. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jackson is also survived by two sons, Thomas E. Jackson of Red Lion and David W. Jackson of Nottingham, MD, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Paula and Donna Jackson both of Maryland and several nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project, 1120 G Street NW, Suite 700, Washington DC, 20005.
