Thomas E. Butler

YORK – Thomas E. Butler, 75, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Brachinski) Butler, to whom he was married for 32 years. All services are private and being handled by Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Thomas was born on July 13, 1937 in York, PA. Upon graduation from high school, he took a job as a truck driver and was employed as such for 44 years, until he retired in 1999. After retiring from trucking, he took a job as a bus driver for the Rabbit Community Transit. He was also a member of the Motorcycle Club of York. In addition to his wife, Kathleen, Mr. Butler is survived by two sons: Justin Butler and his wife Johanna, of York, and Brandon Butler and his wife Melissa, of Dover; four grandchildren: Dane and Alissa Butler, and D.J. and Corey Hauck. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Annette Hauck; two sisters and a brother.
