Theresa Y. (Wagman) Ness

YORK- Theresa Y. (Wagman) Ness, 69, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Royce F. Ness. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 4, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with her pastor the Rev. Edgar Reed officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., and from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Born January 23, 1939 in York, a daughter of the late John and Janet (Desenberg) Wagman, she was a member at Salem Lutheran Church in Dover. She was employed with U-Gro Daycare for five years and was a 1957 graduate from York Catholic. Mrs. Ness was a member with the Widows Support Group, Viking AA, and the Black Sheep National Guard of Columbia. She was also a lifetime member of Reliance Fire Company of West York as well as an avid lighthouse collector and enjoyed traveling and eating out. Mrs. Ness is survived by two daughters, Sheila E. and husband Mike Stewart of East Berlin and Colleen A. and husband Edwin Livingston of Dover; one brother John A. Wagman of York; one sister, Sharon A. Yessler, companion, John L. Blankenstein of York; and many nieces and nephews.
