Theresa M. (Wedrow) Morgan

POTTSVILLE - Theresa M. (Wedrow) Morgan, 85, of Pottsville, went home to the Lord on Monday morning at the Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian St., Pottsville. Born in MaryD on April 6, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary M. (Smolinski) Wedrow. She was a 1924 graduate of Pottsville High School. On January 15, 1941, she married Daniel J. Butler, who died in 1974. On September 24, 1980, she married Arthur R. Morgan, who died Feb. 21, 2009. Theresa was a member of the St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville. Theresa loved spending time with her family. Surviving Theresa are: a daughter, Carolyn Bernatonis, Pottsville; a step-son, Keith Morgan, Joliet; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her two husbands, and parents, Theresa was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Wedrow and a sister, Verna McAnany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM from St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville. The Reverend David Loeper will officiate. Family and friends may call from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, on Friday evening from 7-9 PM and Saturday morning from 9:15-10:15 AM. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville.
