Theodore G. Keeports

YORK – Theodore G. Keeports, 88, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Manor Care – South. He was the husband of the late Isabel L. (McCleary) Keeports. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion with his pastor, The Rev. Ronald L. Doverspike officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Thursday at the Church. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery with full military rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born May 17, 1929 in Red Lion, a son of the late Paul and Verna (Gohn) Keeports, he was a graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Mr. Keeports retired from Standard Register Co. in 1992 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Bethany U.M. Church, enjoyed photography, playing the organ, completing puzzles and going out to eat. Mr. Keeports was a US Army Veteran of The Korean War. Mr. Keeports is survived by a daughter, Deborah C. Keeports of Lancaster; a brother, Dean Keeports of York; a brother in law, K. Loren and wife Myrtle McCleary of York; a sister in law, Ruth Truscott of Surprise, AZ; and 12 nieces and nephews.
