YORK - Thelma Virginia (Kinard) Sangrey Little, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Colonial Manor. She was the wife of the late Vernon Little. The couple had been married for over 26 years. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2666 Furnace Rd., Felton, with the Reverend Allen Schwarz officiating. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on November 1, 1927 in Craley, she was the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Mary E. (Olewiler) Kinard. Thelma worked as a Cashier for Giant Food Stores for over 20 years. Mrs. Little was a member of St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking and once owned a restaurant. She also enjoyed camping and collecting salt and pepper shakers. Thelma was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hanover and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #227 in Hanover. Mrs. Little is survived by two sons, David W. Sangrey, Jr., and his wife, Christine of Brogue and Terry L. Sangrey of Delta’ two daughters, Sandy L. Hernandez and her husband, Pete of Allentown and Patricia L. Hoens and her husband, Rick of Felton; one step son, Vernon Little, Jr., and his wife, Judy of Hanover; one stepdaughter, Vickie Mason and her husband, Art of East Berlin; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one brother, Ray A. Kinard and his wife, Nancy of Hanover; and her ex-husband, David Sangrey, Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2666 Furnace Rd., Felton, PA 17322.
