Thelma T. (Mace) Carbaugh

York—Thelma T. (Mace) Carbaugh, 95, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services—South. She was the wife of Robert A. Carbaugh to whom she was married for 73 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:30 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with her pastor, the Rev. Dr. James Murr. A visitation will be held from 1-1:30 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Green Hill Cemetery at the family’s convenience. Born January 23, 1917 in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of the late Paul R. and Mable L. (Wishard) Mace. She was a 1936 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She was a loving homemaker, a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York and a 40 plus year volunteer with American Red Cross. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Carbaugh is also survived by one sister, Mildred Levick of Waynesboro, many nieces and nephews and several close friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Mace. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Rd, York, Pa 17403.
