RENOVO - Thelma P. (Roush) Goodling, 88, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo. She was born September 12, 1925 in Millerstown a daughter of the late Willard I. Roush, Sr. and Mazie (Dim). Thelma was married on November 12, 1949 in Millerstown to William C. Goodling who died September 1, 1999. They celebrated 49 years of marriage together. She was a member of Hyner United Methodist Church. Thelma enjoyed crocheting, bowling and gardening. Surviving are six sons David Goodling of Coalport, Charles Goodling, Clair (Theresa) Goodling, Michael (Linda) Goodling, Steven (Linda) Goodling, Richard Goodling all of Renovo. Two daughters Linda (Joe) Wenzel of Shermansdale, PA and Susan Goodling of Renovo. 14 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. She is survived by four brothers Carl Roush of Newport, Roy Roush of Thompsontown, Clarence Roush of Halifax and Willard Roush, Jr. of Thompsontown also two sisters Lois Frymoyer and Shirley Stroup both of Perry Valley. Three sisters Mary Rock, Esther Campbell and Ruth Powley and two brothers Paul Roush and Luther Roush preceded Thelma in death. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family, Interment will be at North Bend Cemetery. The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine Street, South Renovo, PA 17764 or Hyner United Methodist Church, c/o Sheila Berkebile, 6767 Renovo Road, Mill Hall, PA 17751. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
