YORK- Thelma M. (Fauth) Mundis, 78, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services at Kingston Court. She was the wife of Mark D. Mundis, Jr. The couple celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2014. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Windsor Church of God, RR1, 1125 Manor Road, Windsor, with her Pastor, The Reverend Anthony Zumbo officiating. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion and from 10-11 AM on Thursday prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Windsor Church of God Cemetery. Born October 23, 1935 in Wrightsville, Thelma was a daughter of the late Clair and Ethel (Craley) Fauth. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Triumph and later for Tighe Industries until her retirement in 1997. Mrs. Mundis was a lifelong member of Windsor Church of God. She loved to read and will be remembered for her generosity of love, nurturing and care taking as she was a ‘mother’ to many. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mundis is survived by a son, Tony Mundis and his wife Cristie Huson of Yoe; a daughter, Kim Grove and her husband Bob of York; a granddaughter, Brittany Mundis of Yoe; three sisters, Gladys McFatridge and her husband Larry of Stewartstown, Norma Taylor and her husband Ray Jr. of Windsor and Betty Tucker and her husband Bernard of York; a brother, Wayne Fauth and his companion Sandra of East Prospect; sister in law, Nancy Fauth of Perry County; numerous nieces and nephews and two grand dogs, Rocky and Reggie. Thelma was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Fauth.
