Thelma J. “Jean” (Coughenour) Miller, 79, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Country Meadows of York-South. She was the wife of the late James A. Miller. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be 10AM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 9-10AM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born June 25, 1942 in Somerset, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer L. and Clova P. (Grove) Coughenour. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker, who enjoyed baking, crocheting and was a talented seamstress. Jean was also a member of the Yoe Ladies Auxiliary and loved animals. Mrs. Miller is survived by a step-son, Scott L. Miller of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Judy E. Krow of Wrightsville and Carol A. Schrock of Somerset; one brother, Frank W. Coughenour of Washington and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack W. and Wayne H. Coughenour.
