Theda B. (White) Cummings

TROY- Theda B. (White) Cummings, 91, of Troy, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Troy Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Paul C. Cummings, to whom she married on September 2, 1939. Theda was born on June 7, 1918 in Springboro, PA, daughter of the late James N. and Neva J. (Rice) White. Theda was a homemaker but moreover was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her sons: Paul C. (Joyce) Cummings, Jr. of Bentley Creek, PA, and Charles R. (Lynn) Cummings of Indiana, her daughter: Judith A. Sorensen and Patricia A. Cummings, both of Troy, PA, eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her brother James N. (Esther) White of Florida, her sister Patricia A. Irwin of New Jersey, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, her son James N. Cummings, and her brother Charles R. White. Theda's services will be private and at the convenience of her family. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
