Terry L. Hively

YORK - Terry L. Hively, 70, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Yolanda P. (Platas) Hively.

Born December 10, 1952 in York, he was a son of Gloria (Stabley) and the late Morgan Hively. Terry graduated from York Suburban High School, and then worked for his father and uncle at Hively Transportation. Terry eventually moved on to work for McCrory's and Ryder Transportation Solutions LLC / Goodyear Tires later retiring from there in 2022. Terry was a hard working man who enjoyed hockey, football, and tennis, going for walks and exercising, traveling and going to the beach, classic rock music and dancing, and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Hively leaves behind his mother, Gloria (Stabley) Hively, a daughter, Ashley Maria Earnest and her husband Cameron; a brother, Morgan Hively; a sister, Bonnie Boyle; a cousin, Paul Hively, Sr.; and two nephews Justin Hively, and Paul Hively, Jr. Terry is preceded in death by his father, Morgan Hively.
