SPRING GROVE – Terry L. Gore, 52, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The family will be having a celebration of Terry's life in New York in the spring. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Miss Gore was born July 10, 1960 in Johnstown, a daughter of Norman G. and Harriet M. (McClain) Gore of Conway, SC. She was a 1978 graduate of Faith Heritage Christian School near Syracuse and earned both her RN degree and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Syracuse University. Terry had also attended Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary. Miss Gore enjoyed her work as a paraprofessional with Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12. She was an accomplished ventriloquist and performed for various groups in the York area. Terry had been a member of the National Honor Society of Nursing. Terry was passionate about generously giving of her self in serving others. In that spirit the family requests those who mourn her passing to 'pay it forward' by choosing to help someone.
