York—Terry E. Graham, 71, died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Jane C. (Leber) Graham with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage on January 23rd. A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Mt. Zion United Church of Christ, 1054 Ridgewood Rd, York, with his pastor, the Rev. Cathy H. Sherry officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born February 9, 1938 in Lower Windsor Township, he was a son of late Clyde C. and Laura (Graham) Graham. He was a 1955 Graduate of Red Lion High School and served in the United States Army. He was employed for 42 years with Caterpillar Inc, until his retirement in 1998. In addition to being a member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ, Terry was also a member of the Hawks Gunning Club, Victory Athletic Association, Pleasureville American Legion-Post # 799 and the Nittany Lion Club. He was an avid Penn State Football fan, enjoyed woodworking and gardening and was actively involved for many years in the Central York High School Booster Club. Mr. Graham is also survived by one son, Steven L. Graham and his wife, Deborah of York, two daughters, Jodi L. Graham of York and Sherri A. Miller and her husband, Bryan of Tallmadge, OH, granddaughter, Hannah J. Miller, two sisters, Shirley Snyder and Barbara Humer both of Wrightsville and a niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Jan M. Graham. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association of PA, 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd, Camp Hill, Pa 17011 or American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10305.
