RED LION- Terreasa M. (Wiggins) Fisher, 89, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Fisher, Sr. The couple spent 59 years of marriage together before Albert’s passing in 2005. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York, with Pastor Kevin Cross of Heartland Hospice, officiating. Born October 4, 1927 in West Chester, Terreasa was a daughter of the late Earl Lemon and Florence R. Wooten. She worked for 20 years in multiple furniture factories in Red Lion. Terreasa hated to cook but enjoyed canning tomatoes in the summer. She also dabbled in crafts and would help her husband at many craft shows. Terreasa will be remembered for her fiery spirit, and never being at a loss for words; but she will be most cherished for the legacy of love she has left through her family. Mrs. Fisher is survived by a son, Albert J. Fisher, Jr. and his wife Sue of Brogue; a daughter, Sharon Fisher of DE; four grandchildren, Jim Olphin of DE, Jennifer Williams and her husband Ted of Red Lion, Jill Waltman and her husband Steve of Felton, and Sarah Hill and her husband Josh of Brogue; five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Griffin; a niece, Ruth Troutman of Shamokin, and a nephew, Billy Stoud of Marysville. In addition to her husband and parents, Terreasa was preceded in death by four sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to Aseracare Hospice, 44 Bowman Road, York, PA 17408.
