ULYSSES- Tamie J. (Erickson) Buckwalter, 58, died on Monday, November 7, 2022 in Hanover.

Services for Tamie are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on September 1, 1964 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of James Erickson of Ulysses and the late Janice K. (Osgood) Monroe. Tamie was an LPN who worked in home health care for various agencies over the years.

Tamie had a big heart and enjoyed helping people.

Tamie is survived by her son, James Strunk of York; daughter, Jessica Stough and her husband, Seth of Hanover; six grandchildren, Zane Strunk, Alexander Strunk, Rose Groves, Madeline Groves, Hiriam Stough and Calhum Stough; brother, Richard Erickson and his wife, Susan of Ulysses; sister, Kathy Dotzel and her husband, John of York; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Faye Erickson.
