T. Jane Spencer

Red Lion—T. Jane (Cross) Spencer, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her residence in Windsor Township. She was the wife of the late David L. Spencer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born February 06, 1939 in Grove City, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Sarah (Harmer) Cross.

She was employed as a hostess with Robertson’s Department Store and later as a customer service representative at Wisconsin Bank & Trust, after which she was a loving and devoted housewife to her husband and family.

A member of First Presbyterian Church – York, she enjoyed bowling and golfing. However, what she lived for were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her two children, Brian A. Spencer and Sharon A. McCreary and her husband, Randy; two grandsons, Spencer S. McCreary and his wife, Brittany and Stone C. McCreary and his significant other, Paige Espenshade and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death two brothers and one sister.
