Sylvia Marie (Crockett) Engelke

TROY- Sylvia Marie (Crockett) Engelke, 91, of Troy, and formerly of South Eastern Pennsylvania, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of William C. Engelke, Jr. The couple married January 12, 1974 and had 39 happy years together. Sylvia was born on January 2, 1922 in North Wales, PA, daughter of the Alfred Crockett and Edna (Bright) Crockett Kleinman. She was a Dietician for the Souderton Area District and was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church in Troy, PA. Sylvia is survived by her husband Bill, her daughters: Bonnie Jean Weigner and husband Curtis Eugene of Lansdale, PA, and Sandra Elaine Stevens of Tipp City, Ohio, her step children: William C. Engelke, III of Troy, PA, James T. Engelke of Green Lane, PA, Carl R. Engelke of Souderton, PA, and Elizabeth A. Engelke of Kunkletown, PA, seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, her step father Harold Kleinman, her first husband Willis Krauss Ludwig, and her son-in-law Dutch Stevens. Keeping with Sylvia’s wishes there will be no services. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
