Sylvia J. Julian

YORK - Sylvia J. (Littell) Julian, 77, died in the comfort of her home at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2007 with her family at her side. She was the wife of Colonel Martin D. Julian who died August 7, 2005. Following cremation, a visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. A graveside service in Arlington National Cemetery will be scheduled for a later date with the Rev. David P. Cunsolo, pastor of Victory Church in Winchester, VA, officiating. Mrs. Julian was born April 25, 1930, in Ohio, and raised in Michigan, a daughter of the late Edmund and Joyce (Hamacher) Littell. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed her weekly breakfast and luncheon groups in York. Mrs. Julian is survived by her children, Edmund M. Julian of Acworth, GA., Jody J. McGlothlin and husband, Brent of Kennesaw, GA, John S. Julian and wife, Sonja of Winchester, VA, and David L. Julian and wife, Sandi of York; her grandchildren, Jeramie Julian of Acworth, GA, Laura Winiarczyk of York and Sarah Julian of Winchester, VA; and her beloved Yorkie, Winston. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Kiefer.
