Suzanne K. (Stephenson) Bowers

MILTON - Suzanne K. (Stephenson) Bowers, 56, died on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. Suzanne was born on September 7, 1954 in Lewisburg and was the daughter of the late Russell C. and Thelma M. (Beacham) Stephenson. She had graduated from Milton Area High School, class of 1972 and attended Williamsport Area Community College. On August 7, 1976, she married Michael L. Mike Bowers, who survives and celebrated 34 years as husband and wife. She had worked at Noahs Ark Daycare. She attended St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Milton, was affiliated with the cub scouts and boy scouts, and was a team mother for both Milton Little League and Milton Panther Cub football teams. Most of all, she loved her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Michael, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Russell R. and Julie Bowers of Milton and Stephen M. and Alicia Bowers of Winfield, two granddaughters; Abigail F. Bowers of Milton and Madeline R. Bowers of Winfield and one brother and sister-in-law; Jim and Nona Stephenson of Waunakee, Wisconsin. There will be a public viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N Front St., Milton. There will also be a public viewing from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Gods Missionary Church, 852 Ridge Road, New Columbia with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Steve Miller will officiate the services.
