Susan Marie Munley

RANSON TOWNSHIP-Susan Marie "Breza" Munley, 55, of Ransom Township, passed away in the Community Medical Center Hospice Unit after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Scranton on May 19, 1955, she was a daughter of Mae Lucille Gower Breza and the late Paul John Breza. Susan graduated from Abington Heights High School in 1973. For the last 9 ½ years she enjoyed going to work at Pride Mobility in Duryea. Words cannot express how they were by her side through this all. She loved everyone there and they loved her. They are "the best place to work." Susan would like to thank everyone at CMC'S Hospice Unit for their compassion, generosity, and friendship to her , her family and friends. She will greatly miss her wonderful doctor, Dr. Sheila Prahalad. She would also like to thank everyone in the ICU for their expertise, professionalism and kindness. In addition to her mother, Mae Lucille Gower Breza, Ransom Township; she is survived by her son, Christopher Michael Pilcher, Hazelton; brothers, Paul Breza and wife Laurie, Old Forge; Thomas Breza and wife Linda, Moosic; Raymond Breza, Mill City; sisters, Lisa Wahl and husband Joe, Justus; Lora Gulla and husband Mark, Avoca; Juanita Stanton and husband Jim, Clarks Summit; and ex-husband, Robert Munley, Clarks Summit. In addition to her father, Paul John Breza, Susan was preceded in death by a nephew, Christian Thomas Gulla. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 7:00PM from Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc. 728 Main Street, Avoca PA. 18641. Friends may call from 6:00pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Officiating is Msgr. John Sempa. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at the Milwaukee Cemetery, Clark Summit, PA.
