Susan M. (Lehigh) Billet

YORK - Susan M. (Lehigh) Billet, 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at York First Church of God, 507 Vander Ave., York with Pastor Glenn Detter officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements. Born July 16, 1958 in York, Mrs. Billet was a daughter of the late Edward R. and Maria (Nickl) Lehigh. Ms. Billet worked for 40 plus years at Dentsply as a Senior Computer Operator. Ms. Billet was very committed to her church, York First Church of God, and to her work. Ms. Billet served as a worship leader, and played the piano for her church. She was very family oriented, and loved spending Fridays going to Primo Pizza with them. In her free time, she enjoyed watching hockey, especially the Colorado Avalanche, and watching Hallmark movies. Ms. Billet leaves behind two sons, Jason Billet (Amanda), and Daniel Billet; two brothers, Steven E. Lehigh (Pam), and Richard D. Lehigh (Lori); a sister, Anna Mae Freeze, and many nieces and nephews. Ms. Billet is preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Hagerman.
