Susan E. (Rohrbaugh) Ehrhart

JACOBUS- Susan E. (Rohrbaugh) Ehrhart, 63, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Nathan Gerald Ehrhart. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 15, at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 N. Main St., Jacobus, with The Reverend Dr. Scott McKenzie, Pastor Bruce Fensterbush, Pastor Michael Derk, and The Reverend Dr. Bryan Mann, officiating. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 12, from 6-8 PM at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 1:30-2 PM on Sunday, at the Church, prior to service. Inurnment will be in Christ United Methodist Cemetery. Born July 12, 1952 in Jacobus, Susan was the daughter of the late Donald and Jaqueline (Stump) Rohrbaugh. Susan worked for 30 years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Red Lion until her retirement in 2014. She was a lifelong member of Christ United Methodist in Jacobus where she taught children’s Sunday school for over 40 years and she was caretaker of Church Park for 30 years. Susan helped coach York Township’s Boy’s baseball and from 1982-1984 she coached and won York County Championship for the 8- 10 year old girl's Chanceford Cubs softball team. Mrs. Ehrhart is survived by a son, Nathan Ehrhart II of North Codorus Township; a daughter, Tania Zech and her husband Tobin of York; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Colton Zech; a brother, Bradley Rohrbaugh and his wife Berti of Hellam; numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends that were like family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 200 North Main Street, Jacobus, PA 17407 or House of Hope, 3899 Sticks Road, Glenn Rock, PA 17407.
