Sue E. Kalinich

POTTSVILLE- Sue E. Kalinich, 69, of Marlin, passed away Saturday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson Street, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on January 22, 1942, Sue was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Pukas McKosky. She attended Marlin Public Schools. Susie worked most of her life in the garment industry. Most recently, she served as a nurse’s aide in various nursing homes in the Pottsville Area. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Pottsville. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, John Kalinich, who passed away in 1997; her brother, Robert McKosky. Susie is survived by her three sons, Mike, husband of Robin, of Marlin, John, Jr., husband of Renee, of Pottsville and Peter Kalinich, husband of Alexandra, of Marlin; her daughter, Helen Kruse, of Cassatt, SC; her seven grandchildren, Selina Howard, Kimberly Ringenbach, Taliah Greenawalt, Joshua, Ryan, Bryatt, and Jack Kalinich; her two Great Grandchildren, Cambry and Austin; her sister, Marie Stewart, of Sugarland, TX; her brother, Frank McKosky, of Columbia, SC; several nieces and nephews. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in Susie’s honor to the Hillside SPCA, Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
