Stewart Wesley Johnson Jr.

WINDSOR- Stewart W. "Butch" Johnson, Jr., 67, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Bonnie L. (Norris) Johnson, to whom he was married to for 45 years. A Celebration of Life service will be 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Thomas Beck officiating. A viewing will be from 6-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Johnson was born on October 13, 1941 in York, Pa., a son of the late Stewart W. and Carrie (Heffner) Sr. Mr. Johnson worked in maintenance for York County where he retired in 2008. Prior to, he worked as a baker for Mrs. Smith's Apple Pies as well as Maple Doughnuts. Along with his wife, "Butch" is survived by a son, Scott Johnson and his girlfriend Melinda of Wrightsville; two daughters, Joann Johnson of Windsor and Linda Johnson and her boyfriend Lonnie of Felton; one grandchild, Michele Johnson and her boyfriend Josh; one step grandchild, Ecky Abdellatif; two great grandchildren, Karinne and Gavin; four sisters, Shirley Boyer of Alabama, Audrey Demitt of York, Bonnie Huckenberry of York, and Bernice Overton of York; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was a sister, Pat Huson.
