ETTERS – Stewart E. Moody, Sr., 84, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Anna M. (Fetrow) Moody to whom he was married for 65 years on March 26, 2014. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with Rev. Timothy L. Hoffman officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-12:00 Noon on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. Born March 12, 1930 in Mt. Airy, Warrington Twp., a son of the late Ralph Moody and the late Beatrice (Ditlow) Shean, he retired after more than 40 years of service working on the PA Railroad with Penn Central and Conrail. Mr. Moody was a member of James A. Danner VFW Post 537 in Etters and Red Run Rod & Gun Club in Canton, PA. Stewart was an avid hunter and Cub Cadet collector. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. In addition to his wife, Mr. Moody is survived by three sons, Stewart E. Moody, Jr. of Etters and Michael D. and Craig L. Moody both of Lewisberry; two daughters, Patricia A. and husband David Gelbaugh of Etters and Pamela J. and husband James Losch of Millerstown, Perry Co.; six grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Ritter of Mechanicsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, c/o Scholarship Fund, 863 Lewisberry Rd., Lewisberry, PA 17339 or to James A.
