Steven William Spiak

COLUMBIA CROSSROADS, PA- Steven William Spiak, Sr., 44, of Columbia Crossroads, PA passed away accidentally on Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Troy, PA. Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The celebration to honor Steve's life will be held after the viewing on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating. Burial will follow the service in Harkness Cemetery with military rites given by the Troy VFW Post # 8675. Steve was born on July 3, 1963 in Elmira, NY. He is the son of William J. and Lorraine B. (Orr) Spiak of Columbia Crossroads, PA. Steve was a 1981 graduate of Troy High School, and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the 464 98th "lriquois" Division. He worked for Toshiba in Horseheads, NY until the plant closed and was a mechanic for Cummings Lumber Company from then to present. Steve is survived by his sons: Steven W. (Amber Hostettler) Spiak, Jr., Seth R. Spiak, and Brandon R. Spiak, all of Columbia Crossroads, PA, his daughter Casey L. Spiak of Granville Summit, PA, his former wife Lori A. Spiak of Columbia Crossroads, PA, his parents William J. and Lorraine B. (Orr) Spiak of Columbia Crossroads, PA, his sister Terrie A. (Jon) Darrow of Columbia Crossroads, PA, his brother Wayne D. Spiak of Canton, PA, along with several nieces and nephews. His sister, Bonnie Lynn Carey who passed away in 1977 preceded Steve in death.
