Steven R. Baker

York — Steven R. Baker, 52, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Lori H. (Howard) Baker. The couple celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on November 4th. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3 PM, Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Peter Beddia of Bethel United Methodist Church, in Brogue officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-3 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home. Born August 20, 1959 in York, he was a son of Kenneth B. Baker and his wife, Norma of Glen Rock and Patricia Ann (Maze) Bean and her husband, Larry of Abbottstown. Steven graduated from Dallastown Senior High School in 1977 and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Penn State University. He was employed with Sentinel Connectors in York as their Chief Financial Officer. A member of the Red Lion Educational Foundation, he also loved spending time with his family and trips to Ocean City. In addition to his wife, Steven is also survived by two sons, Joshua H. and Connor J. Baker of York; a step brother, Larry E. Bean of York, father and mother-in-law, James and Sandra Howard of Brogue; brother-in-law, James Howard Jr., and his wife Melissa of Brogue; sister-in-law, Amy Thompson and her husband, David of Pottstown and nieces and nephews.
