Steven M. Putnam

TROY, PA - Steven M. Putnam, Age 49 of Fallbrook Road, Troy, PA passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at home with his family at his side. Steve was born October 23, 1962 in Troy son of Leon W. and Betty Lou (Tice) Putnam. He attended Troy Areas Schools and was a self-employed mechanic. Steve’s interests included NASCAR, he was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, Demolition Derby, Fishing and Swimming. He was a member of the American Legion. Surviving in addition to his parents are his three daughters, Nikki Putnam of Troy, Precious Putnam of Mystic CT, Lily Walton of Elmira, NY, granddaughter Ivy Rose Putnam, siblings, Leon Jr. (June) Putnam of Mansfield, Deborah (David) Smith of Monroeton, Kevin Keith (Jenifer) Putnam of Mansfield, Belinda Sue (Joseph) Packard of Troy, Kim LaRue (Beatrice) Putnam of Troy, Tina (Jason) Avants of Troy, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his Uncle Dale Putnam in 1997. Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 3 to 5 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy. His memorial service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 5 PM with Reverend Garry Zuber officiating.
